Sarah, I'm definitely leaning more towards the top one with the white background only because I feel it is more flexible to work with. I also think the white background helps the logo pop out more. I feel that the blue background with the green is competing with each other because their hues are so close in tones. I really love the logo design in general, the leaves give that flow motion to them. Very nice!
ReplyDeleteOh! Also I forgot to mention, I think you accidentally mixed up the letters. It's actually MBDC, you have it as MDBC.
ReplyDeleteOh yeah... I did mix the letters .... lol... thank you... I will fix it. Also thank for your comment about the colors. The Blue color was to choose the other version of the logo with different background colors... I will upload all the versions I have and I hope to have your feedback for improvment.
DeleteAh! I see what you mean now with the different colored backgrounds. I really like the second one with the gray background. I think the gray compliments the green quite nicely. It's a nice neutral to balance out the other colors. I like the ones with the gray and green backgrounds more than the blue ones. And I like that you put the 2 different shades of green in the leaves, it gives them nice dimension.

DeleteSarah – I vote for the top one, on a white background and green icon OR the black background with green icon (in other words – the top 2). I seems important to me to have green included, and the organic nature of that icon seems to lend itself to a color that we associate with nature. But don’t forget – when branding a company we are often asked to create a color AND a bl/wh version of the logo. And that is what I think I see with the 3rd logo down… the bl/wh version of either of the top ones
