  1. I love this design Brief, I feel like the gradient background real works with the design. Only problem that I am seeing is that on your first page "01 Creative Brief" that page number "01" gets lost with the background.

  2. Ophelia – to reaffirm and continue the feedback you received in class about this Brief:

Photos: finding a few more photos that show students in classrooms using the products might be a good idea. The infographic icons that you have collected here are standard ones. I encourage you to draw your own icons for the specific data you will be using.

Colors: I’m not sure that I agree with the colors you have labeled as dominant and neutral. I see red, green, and that glowing light blue as the dominant – with black as a 4thrd dominant if it is used in large quantities. (If your intention is the use black just for the body copy – you really do not have to include it in your palette.) A neutral color is often one that does not have a distinct name (like the color next to black) – which I would call blue/teal with red mixed in. See? The neutral colors are usually a mixture of primary colors. So – the blue and green here are not neutrals. Please make sure to visit your photos (not icons) and pull your colors from them. Look in the shadows and edges of the shapes for your neutrals.

Fonts – Be careful that the heading font isn’t lighter than the body copy. Raleway is smaller than Merriweather – so you will need to use it at a bold, larger size. Otherwise, I think they could be combined well.

Cover: Don’t let the dripping wax invade the logo space. (Remove the green glob?). The colors of the logo symbol and MBDC should be integrated, right? They should work togethet as 1 unit. But the tagline (Helping businesses…) could be a different color. If you like.

Infographics – please print these out so I can proof read both of them. Currently, I think this data is very good.

    Nice beginning!
