Hi all,
This is my full brochure, besides the top of page seven. I wanted to sell the Cradle to Cradle book, but I wasn't sure how to go about doing that. Should I put the description of the book? What text should I include for the book if I'm going to use that in my brochure? Any ideas would be appreciated. I'd also like feedback on the quote and picture I've chosen to use on the last page above the mailing labels. Is it too long? I felt like it was a good fit because it talked about trees and nature and thats a big part of my brochure. Any other last minute changes will be very helpful.

Nicole: This is looking really good. A few things:
ReplyDeleteCover – for the sake of the page balance, you might want to pull the green torn area (that holds the logo) just a bit upwards on the page. Does it seem a bit too low?
Page 4/5 – the infograph holds an incomplete sentence as a headline. I would suggest adding a line at the bottom of that element (below the circles) that would read “Would be Saved Too”.
Also, there are a few typos: Kilowatts of Energy, and Gallons of Oil
Page 7 – you really don’t need a folio on this page because it’s the end of the brochure, and folios never move. Never. So if they are in the way of another, more important element, we either need to move that other element or cover up the folio with it. In this case the BRE is more important… so delete the folio (or allow it to be covered up).
Cradle to Cradle – feel free to use the text I supplied to you, as a sidebar, for the book marketing. I think you’ll find what you need there, and you can also cut it to fit.
The address to use for MBDC is found at the beginning of the supplied text:
1001 E. High St, Suite 200
Charlottesville, VA 22902
Nice touch, with the ball of paper.
Back cover: I’m not sure you need the first sentence in that quote. It could start with “Imagine…” and probably be better. Not sure the serif font works here as well as the sans serif. Using the sans serif would allow you to reduce the font size, using a smaller green rectangle and cover up less of the photo.
Nice work.
